Since beginning his speaking career in 2009, Josh has delivered over 1,000 high-impact presentations, motivating thousands across North America to embrace outstanding customer service, leadership, and teamwork. Known for his authentic, relatable style, Josh is a sought-after thought leader at industry events, connecting with audiences through stories that elevate both professional and personal mindsets.
With more than 25 years of operations management experience, Josh brings a wealth of knowledge across diverse industries. His expertise has earned him trusted partnerships with clients like Albuquerque Public Schools, ALPHA Facility Solutions, Purview, and the National School Plant Managers Association.
Beyond the stage, Josh channels his passion for inspiring others through two top-ranking podcasts, Be Au Sm and Be Au Sm at FM (Facilities Management). These shows feature conversations with influential leaders and are available on all major podcast platforms and at www.beausm.com.
Josh’s industry impact is widely recognized. He is one of only two recipients of the ASBO International Corporate Leader Award and the only vendor awarded the ISTE Making IT Happen Award. His other honors include the MASBO Friend of MASBO Award, NSPMA Donna Peoples Corporate Leadership Award, SCSPMA Vicar Award, and the NHASBO Al Blastos Distinguished Service Award.
Based in the Boston, MA area, Josh shares his home with his fiancée Amy, their two young sons, and a lively backyard petting zoo.
